The world of blog

Hello again,
I just found out that there are many different types of settings in this world of blog, so it may take me a while to get everything just right. I hope to get things taken care of so that my friends can participate with me.
My sister and I went to lunch with a friend of ours, Cathy Solomons, and then drove down to the beach. We ate at Barbara Jean's, a nice little restaurant on the island. We sat out on the porch and about froze to pieces! The wind was really blowing. We were across the water from Paula Deen's place, so after lunch we rode by her house. I do not understand how she fits all the cars of the people who come to see her show. She lives on a small dead end road and tapes the cooking shows there at her house. There must be a bigger spot in her house on the backside where she fits all the people for the shows. From the front of the house, it doesn't seem like they could fit the whole tv crew and all in there. Then, we rode to the beach to show Cathy where Sandra Bulloch and John Mellancamp live. We stopped by to see our cousins Benjamin and Ami, and we told them that their house was on the celebrity/historic tour, also! Anyway, we had a fun day. We are going to Dewey and Ellen's house tonight to celebrate the new year. I hope all of you have a great New Year's Eve.

My first blog

Hello blog world. I enjoy reading my three cousins' blogs, so I thought I would join the craze. I really don't know what I will write about, but I thought it might be fun. I do enjoy writing, and this may give me the opportunity to write something other than academic papers. The holidays have been enjoyable, but they have been very different. We have had summer weather and winter weather during the past two weeks! The main difference this year is that Mamma is no longer with us. She is in heaven having a great time with her cousins and buddies, though, so I know she is okay. I hope to learn all about how to do interesting things on this site so that it will be interesting to you guys who may want to peruse the wandering thoughts that may exit my brain every now and then. Have a great day!
